CES 2026, produced by the Consumer Technology Association, returned to Las Vegas January 6–9, welcoming industry and government leaders, investors and media from around the world.
Although CES is known for consumer products, many of its themes shape the expectations employees, customers and audiences bring to business settings.
AI everywhere. AI features appeared across devices of every kind. As people grow used to intelligent assistants at home, they will expect similar convenience in meeting rooms, events and customer experiences.
Display innovation. Larger, brighter and more flexible displays continue to push what is possible for lobbies, control rooms and event stages. Evaluate them for viewing distance, content and lifetime cost, not only first impressions.
Connected spaces. Smart-home ideas are moving into offices and venues: sensors, automation and integrated controls. Security and simple user experience should be part of every design.
Mobility and the connected vehicle. Vehicles are increasingly media platforms, creating new formats and channels for content.
CES sets the tone for the year. The organizations that benefit most are those that translate its trends into specific, practical plans.
