The final weeks of 2026 bring three of the year's most influential enterprise technology events in quick succession. Microsoft Ignite runs November 17–20 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. NVIDIA GTC Washington, D.C. follows November 30–December 3 at the Ronald Reagan Building, and AWS re:Invent takes over Las Vegas November 30–December 4.
Why the timing matters. Many organizations finalize 2027 budgets in the same window. Announcements made on these stages often become line items in technology plans within weeks, so it pays to arrive with clear questions rather than a wish list.
Ignite: AI in the everyday workplace. Expect a focus on AI, cloud, security and developer tools. For media and communications teams, the practical question is how assistants and agents connect to the files, meetings and approvals they already use — and how access is governed.
GTC D.C.: AI infrastructure and public sector. NVIDIA's Washington event centers on accelerated computing and its role in economic growth and scientific discovery. Organizations working with government, education or research partners should watch for guidance on procurement, security and responsible deployment.
re:Invent: building blocks at scale. With more than 2,200 sessions, re:Invent rewards a plan. Media organizations should prioritize sessions on live video, storage cost management and the AI services that sit closest to their production workflows.
How to prepare. Write down the three business problems you most need to solve, the systems they touch and the people who would own a change. Use that list to choose sessions and vendor meetings, and schedule a debrief within a week of returning so insights turn into decisions.
